“Do you want better sex?” is a question frequently asked by advertisers trying to sell a number of different products. But you may not even need a product to guarantee a better sex life and stronger more prolonged orgasms. Don’t ask how I found this and I know that I’m beginning to sound like a woman’s glossy mag but let’s talk about Kegels exercises to enhance your sex life.
Kegels exercises were discovered by one Dr Arnold Kegels who was a prominent gynecologist in the 40’s. He created a machine for measuring the air pressure inside the vagina and how to increase or decrease it at will. With this he discovered exercises for the pubococcygeus muscle, better known as the PC muscles.
By exercising the PC muscles you can enhance your orgasm along with a host of other benefits. And it’s not just women that can benefit from these exercises. Men can actually delay their orgasms too to make them more powerful. So how do you do it?
Well, as they say, ladies first. For girls to locate the PC muscles they say to stop the flow of urine when you go to the toilet to find out which muscles it is. The one you use to stop the flow is the PC muscle. To find out if you have the right one (and I can’t believe I’m writing this on my blog) insert a finger into your vagina (oh my God, I’m actually saying this) and squeeze the muscles. You should feel tightening. When you’ve found it there are various exercises to strengthen it.
- Tighten the PC muscle and hold for 5 seconds, then relax for 5 seconds, and repeat. After squeezing for 5 seconds becomes easy, try holding for 10 seconds and resting for 10 seconds. Try to do 10 sets, or as many you can comfortably accomplish.
- While counting from 1 up to 5, slowly tighten the PC muscle with each count until completely tightening the muscle once you reach 5. Then slowly relax the muscle counting back down from 5 until you are completely relaxed once you reach 1. Try to do 10 sets, or as many you can comfortably accomplish.
- At a quick, but steady pace, clench and release repeatedly for as long as you can. You can start out doing the quick clenches for 10 seconds and build up to 30 seconds or more. Remember to rest between exercise sets.
As for men, you can find the muscle in the same way, by stopping the flow. Then try and do the same exercises. For men, the benefits are that you will become a sex God. Basically. You can control your orgasm, last longer and your ejaculation will become more powerful.
The best thing about the exercises, are that you can do them anywhere once you know how to do them. Do them during ad breaks or every time you’re in a queue. If you do these exercises 2 or 3 times a day then you should start to see improvement within 2 or 3 weeks. And what could be better exercise than the one that gives you better sex!
